Max Technology, LLC Gulf Coast · South Florida

Careers

We're hiring in both markets.

Max Technology is growing across the Gulf Coast and South Florida. If you do low-voltage or network field work properly and you're tired of being sent to jobs nobody scoped, we'd like to hear from you.

Structured Cabling Technician

Both markets

The work

Cat6 and Cat6A pull, termination and certification. Patch panel and rack build-outs, inter-building fiber, device drops for cameras, access points and displays. Commercial and hospitality properties, frequently occupied and operating.

What we look for

  • Terminations that pass certification the first time
  • Comfortable working around guests, staff and other trades
  • Ladders, lifts, ceilings and crawl spaces without complaint
  • Labels runs and leaves the closet better than they found it

Network Technician

Both markets

The work

Switch and access point installation and configuration, wireless coverage work, network segmentation, ISP handoff, firewall installs, and isolating faults on networks somebody else built without documentation.

What we look for

  • Can configure a switch and an access point without a script
  • Reads a wireless survey and knows what to do about it
  • Methodical about troubleshooting rather than swapping parts
  • Writes down what was changed

AV Installation Technician

Both markets

The work

Display and projector mounting and configuration, conference and event space audio and video, background music and paging, digital signage. Meeting rooms and event space where it has to work on the day.

What we look for

  • Clean mounting and cable management you'd be happy to photograph
  • Audio and video signal chains held in your head, not looked up each time
  • Calm in front of a client the morning of an event

Lead Technician / Field Supervisor

Both markets

The work

Running crews on site, holding the scope, coordinating with property engineering and general contractors, and owning the documentation that gets handed over at completion.

What we look for

  • Years in the field, not just on an org chart
  • Will raise a scope problem on site rather than after the invoice
  • Can hold a schedule and explain a delay honestly
  • Brings people on rather than working around them

What we offer

Work that's scoped before you get there.

Most field technicians' complaints are the same everywhere: turning up to a job nobody walked, being blamed for a schedule you weren't consulted on, and inheriting infrastructure with no documentation.

We scope and price work in writing before it starts, walk sites before we quote them, and document what we install. That isn't a perk, it's just how the work should run — but it makes the job noticeably better to do.

How to apply

Email us with what you've worked on, which market you're in, and what you're looking for. A resume is welcome but not required — photographs of work you're proud of tell us more than a document will.

Subcontractors and specialist trades

We also work with established low-voltage, electrical and AV subcontractors in both markets, particularly on larger build-outs and multi-property rollouts. If you run a crew and work to a documented standard, get in touch — certificate of insurance and references expected, same as we provide.
